"He has the most who is most content with the least." - Diogenes

Diogenesele meeldis korrata, et ainult jumalad ei vaja midagi; jumalasarnased inimesed aga vajavad vähe.

Huvitav, minu meelest.

Täna õhtul sukeldusime Carliga filosoofide radadele.

“Set your houses in order. If you have paid your debts, if you have a reserve, even though it be small, then should storms howl about your head, you will have shelter for your wives and children and peace in your hearts”

President Gordon B. Hinckley "To the Boys and to the Men," Ensign, Nov. 1998, 54

Tänapäeva tarbimisühiskonnas on see nõu hädavajalik. Vältida võlga on peaaegu võimatu, see on nagu elu loomulik osa. Meil on see teema hetkel väga aktuaalne.

Pesumasin on läbi, tuleb osta uus. Nii et vist jääb oma kodu soov praegu tulevasi aegu ootama...

Keskendun nüüd meie praeguse kodu korda seadmisele:D

"It is not who we are or where we live. It is our attitude, our love, our testimonies, our faith, our conviction, that make a difference."

"To laugh often and much;

to win the respect of intelligent people

and the affection of children;

to earn the appreciation of honest critics

and endure the betrayal of false friends;

to appreciate beauty;

to find the best in others;

to leave the world a bit better,

whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;

to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

10 Tips for Mothers

1. Take time to always be at the crossroads in the lives of your children, whether they be six or sixteen.

2. Take time to be a real friend to your children.

3. Take time to read to your children. Remember what the poet wrote:"You may have tangible wealth untold; Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold. Richer than I you can never be— I had a mother who read to me. "

4. Take time to pray with your children.

5. Take time to have a meaningful weekly home evening. Make this one of your great family traditions.

6. Take time to be together at mealtimes as often as possible.

7. Take time daily to read the scriptures together as a family.

8. Take time to do things together as a family.

9. Take time to teach your children.

10. Take time to truly love your children. A mother’s unqualified love approaches Christlike love.
